  • 52 years old

Arnaud Boissières has become an emblematic figure in French sailing. He is originally from Bordeaux, but Cali developed his passion for sailing in the Arcachon Basin, before being adopted by Les Sables d'Olonne, which is now his home port. 3rd in the 2001 Mini Transat, he has since become the only sailor to complete four Vendée Globe races in a row. He is passionate about the sea, loves adventure and thrills, and his career shows his desire, determination and ability to perform well. These values confirm that it is possible for an ordinary person to achieve something extraordinary, and this enables everyone to dream. Back ashore, Arnaud is a businessman, managing his team and has worked hard to pass on his expertise by working with new talents in ocean racing. He is an expert witness of what is happening to the ocean and as a sailor and citizen aims to encourage the preservation of the environment by being involved in scientific programmes. Now aboard La Mie Câline 3, he is keenly looking ahead to doing well in 2024 in his next round the world race.
