Monnoyeur - Duo For A Job

  • Port–la-Forêt
  • 33 years old

Benjamin Ferré is a Breton navigator and entrepreneur who has a certain lust for life… and slightly crazy challenges. After a Transatlantic passage sailing with a sextant, a solo round the world hitchhiking – 40,000 kilometers of adventure and encounters –, a crossing of Morocco on the occasion of the mythical 4L Trophy, in 2017 he launched IMAGO, the first adventure incubator in France, dedicated to growing sports, ecological and solidarity exploration projects. It was the same  year, he set foot in the totally unknown – to him - world of offshore racing. Two years later, he stepped on the podium in the 2019 Mini-Transat aboard Pile Poil and finished 1st Rookie. The sailor from Saint Malo does not know the concept of comfort zone and now loves ocean racing as it challenges all that he loved about adventuring and pushing himself.
