After a final retirement, the shortened race comes to an end as sailors navigate back to Les Sables d’Olonne.

The last skipper in the Vendée Arctique-Les Sables d'Olonne, Kojiro Shiraishi (DMG MORI GLOBAL ONE) crossed the line at 10:33 p.m. this Saturday. He finished in 20th place after 6 days, 5 hours, 33 minutes and 55 seconds. With him, therefore, the finish line of the race closes. The race is coming to an end. The official classification will be promulgated after the final decision of the jury.

The Belgian skipper, Denis Van Weynbergh, who was positioned less than twenty miles from the finish, made the decision to retire at 8:22 p.m. this Saturday evening, a choice that follows a series of damages that have multiplied on board Laboratoires de Biarritz for 48 hours.
