From 30 May to 7 June 2026, the Vendée Globe esplanade will be transformed into the Vendée Arctique village: a free, festive area open to everyone. Immerse yourself in the polar world and discover the world of skippers in a summer atmosphere. A week of adventure awaits! On the programme: IMOCA speed races in the Bay of Les Sables d'Olonne, entertainment for young and old, meetings with sailors and awareness-raising about the environmental challenges facing the Arctic region, a fascinating but fragile territory on the front line of climate change.

Experience the start up close with the skippers!

The ‘Compagnie Vendéenne’ takes you out to sea aboard its speedboats to witness a unique moment: the start of the Vendée Arctique – Les Sables d’Olonne race. Feel the thrill of the open sea, cheer on the passing IMOCAs and enjoy an exceptional view at the heart of the festivities.
