Founded in 1973 in Vendée by Simone and Joseph Bougro, Sodebo is a family-owned company specialising in fresh ready-made meals. Remaining independent throughout its development, the company has grown around a simple ambition: offering products that are tasty, fresh, convenient, generous and accessible to as many people as possible.
Now led by Marie-Laurence Gouraud, Patricia Brochard and Bénédicte Mercier (the second generation), the company employs 3,300 people and manufactures all of its products at a single site in Vendée. This fully integrated model enables Sodebo to control every stage, from design to production, while ensuring consistent quality.
Over the years, Sodebo has continuously adapted its offering to meet changing eating habits. Salads, pizzas, meal boxes, sandwiches… the company now offers a wide range of products tailored to modern lifestyles, while remaining true to its Vendée roots and collective culture.
Deeply rooted in the region, Sodebo has maintained close ties with the sea and offshore racing for more than 25 years. Over time, this commitment has become a true pillar of the company. It reflects a way of moving forward: with consistency and high standards, by helping teams grow and by supporting long-term journeys and achievements.
Today, offshore racing has become a genuine platform of expression for Sodebo, a place where commitment, performance and human adventure come together, mirroring both the company itself and the dedication of its teams.
