Profile

Arnaud Boissières, a native of Bordeaux and nicknamed Cali, discovered his passion for sailing in the Arcachon Baybefore being adopted by Les Sables d’Olonne, which has since become his home port. With five participations in the Vendée Globe, this lover of the world’s oceans, adventure, and the adrenaline that offshore racing provides has become an iconic figure in French sailing. Aboard his new IMOCA — the former Hugo Boss — since 2025, he is already looking ahead with enthusiasm and ambition to the Vendée Globe 2028, aiming for a sixth consecutive round-the-world race.
