Profile

Originally from La Trinité-sur-Mer, Corentin Horeau has always been passionate about the sea. A graduate of the Merchant Navy, he grew up sailing in Quiberon Bay, where he developed a taste for competition at an early age.

After sailing on various boats, from Laser to Diam 24, he turned to ocean racing in 2011, winning the Challenge Espoir Bretagne CMB selection for the Figaro circuit. A regular competitor in the Solitaire du Figaro, he won the event in 2023 after six attempts.

Passionate and competitive at heart, Corentin is known for his determination and high standards, while remaining deeply attached to the human values of ocean racing. In 2023, he discovered the IMOCA class as co-skipper to Benjamin Dutreux in the Transat Jacques Vabre. In 2025, he joined Team Paprec Arkéa as co-skipper to Yoann Richomme. At the same time, he became the new skipper of the MACSF project with one major goal: the 2028 Vendée Globe.
