Coup de Pouce is the main French organisation working to prevent children from dropping out of school in their early years of education, at nursery and primary school.
Profile
Always friendly, sincere and deeply committed, Manuel Cousin cultivates an image as warm as it is determined, a blend of fighting spirit, sincerity and infectious enthusiasm. An engaging skipper and tireless worker, he embodies a demanding yet human approach to competitive sailing, where performance goes hand in hand with simplicity.
A two-time finisher of the Vendée Globe, in 2020 and 2024, the skipper has once again demonstrated his resilience and ability to stand firm in the face of the elements. Nothing seems to be able to shake his determination or his optimism.
He is now setting his sights on his third Vendée Arctique! Hoisting his IMOCA to the Arctic Circle will be the first real-life test of his brand new foils. It will be a real fresh start: he will have to relearn his boat, explore its subtleties and reveal its full potential.
