Café Joyeux is the first group of café-restaurants that employs and trains people with mental and cognitive disabilities. The first Café Joyeux opened in 2017 in Rennes, and today there are 31 Café Joyeux locations in France and around the world. Café Joyeux is also the first European fair trade specialty coffee brand, with all profits going towards supporting the employment of people with disabilities.
Profile
Since his early childhood, Nico D'Estais has had a deep-seated dream: to take part in the biggest offshore races. Driven by a consuming passion, he one day decided to follow his heart and try to become a sailor. Today, what makes him happiest is not only that he has realised his childhood dream, but that he can use it to help those who need it most. Since they met in 2022, he has been a proud ambassador for Cafés Joyeux. The support of all their teams, and especially that of the Joyeux crew, gives him invaluable strength when he is at sea. He is immensely proud to be their ambassador.
