Since 1987, the Petits Princes Association has been making dreams come true for seriously ill children and teenagers suffering from cancer, leukaemia, certain genetic diseases, etc. By living out their passions and fulfilling their dreams, children find extra energy to fight their illness. The Association does not limit its activities to fulfilling a single dream. Working with 150 hospital departments throughout France, it can organise several dreams for the same child based on their passions, in line with their treatment and hospitalisation schedule. Because illness turns the whole family's world upside down, in most cases parents and siblings share in the dreams with the child.
Profile
A candidate for the next Vendée Globe, Élodie Bonafous stands out as much for her temperament as for her performance. Coming from dinghy sailing, she quickly distinguished herself on the Figaro Beneteau circuit thanks to her precise helmsmanship and strong seamanship. She races under the colours of the Association Petits Princes - Queguiner, thus extending the link between self-fulfilment and supporting those who are fighting to achieve their dreams. This trajectory found a resounding echo in 2023, when she became the first French woman to win a stage of La Solitaire du Figaro. More than a sporting victory, it is a symbol: that of a sailor capable of combining patience and fighting spirit, intuition and courage. Guided by the desire to go ever further, Élodie embodies a generation of ambitious and passionate sailors.

The Quéguiner Group brings together distinct and complementary activities in the field of building materials: manufacturer of hydraulic and polymer concrete products, manufacturer of PVC joinery, producer of ready-mixed concrete, distributor of building materials, independent transporter. Based in Landivisiau, where it all began in 1948, the Quéguiner Group operates throughout Brittany and the Loire-Atlantique region. As it approaches its 80th anniversary, the Group's commitment and values remain unchanged: to focus its actions on sustainable development by reconciling economic performance, respect for the environment and social progress, and to involve its employees, customers and partners in order to go further, faster and stronger in line with its three values: respect, high standards and boldness.
Commitment
Elodie's dreams of the ocean took root in childhood, fuelled by the exploits of Ellen MacArthur. The British sailor's daring paved the way for inspiration, which gradually turned into a vocation. Her initial admiration gave way to unwavering determination. With a Master's degree in Adapted Physical Activity and Health, the Finistère native first worked in a nursing home. This experience, rich in encounters and humanity, now informs her commitment to the Petits Princes Association.
